A handsome stripped pine chest of drawers with a lovely warm colour and plenty of character in the timber.
It has two smaller drawers over three generous full width drawers, all finished with turned wooden handles. The chest appears to have been painted yellow at some point in its life before being stripped, with little traces of the original paint still visible in places.
There is a hairline crack to the top, along with various marks, knocks and signs of use throughout. We think these all sit very naturally with the piece and its age, but please see the photographs for details.
A really useful, substantial chest with lots of storage that would work beautifully in a bedroom.
